@coolboymew @XRatedPoetry @mischievoustomato then you don't get to use magnifier. Either turn it on (temporarily) or use wayland.

@coolboymew @XRatedPoetry @mischievoustomato Alt-Shift-F12 to toggle compositing if my (muscle) memory serves me well, you might want to change the renderer to some OpenGL version instead of XRender, too. Pardon me i think it's been half a year since last time I used X11. No restart required, if anything - logout+login should suffice.
